New Kits online

 Hello Everyone

I have finally uploaded all the leftover tag kits from Our All Day Scrap along with some other projects.

They are listed under "New Instore". I have popped images of a few of the tags here.

Tag 21

All the tag kits include everything you need to make them. All the chipboard has been painted, stamped and sprayed. Detailed instructions are included along with step-by-step instructions. Each kit also includes a chipboard piece for a second photo to go below each of your tags and a strip of chipboard to go under an affirmation at the top of each tag. You only need these if you intend to place your tags in a frame.

Tag 15.

Tag 7.

Tag 32.

Tag 2.

I have also included some samples of the tags in frames with the photo below and the affirmations above.

Frames can be purchased from Spotlight and are available in natural or white. The one shown above is an A4 size and will hold four tags.

This is a frame I did for my children's weddings.

The other kit I have released is my Shabby Patchwork Pieces bundle ($185). I did this quite a few years ago, but a few ladies asked me to make them a kit. I have made an extra 10 kits then it is all done, and I will not be making any more EVER.

This beautiful, framed piece is perfect for a wedding or baby. I have used it for four of my children's wedding and will re-work the large middle panel so I can fit four smaller photos on it. But for now, I have shown it here as it is in the kit.

For this project you need a 50cmx50cm frame from Ikea or Spotlight and a piece of matt board for mounting all your squares and photos on.

The bundle is made up of 6 kits and includes squares for your photos. Each kit includes everything you need to make your squares. All your chipboard and charms have been sprayed white. Detailed instructions with photos are included in each kit along with the instructions for putting it all together.

I will be putting some more kits online as the week goes by - along with lots of my Graphic 45 papers.

See you again soon.

Only Six Sleeps to go!!!!!!!!!!!

 Hello Everyone

Where have these past weeks gone, and so much for me promising to share tags every week. What was I thinking when I offered to do that!

I have a stack on my table at the moment just waiting to be placed in frames. Still needing to make a few more this week.

For those ladies joining us on Saturday - here is some information you need to know and may find helpful.

Our All Day Scrap is being held this coming Saturday 20th of April at the Cosgrove Hall, 40-50 York Ave, Clovelly Park.

Doors will open at 8.30am with the first class starting at 9.30am sharp.

Please bring your basic scrapbooking kit, which should include the following items.

Paper trimmer (12 inches), mix of adhesives tapes (wide and narrow), glue, ruler in inches, pencil, scissors, hole punch, bone folder or scoring tool cork or rubber mat along with a paper piecer.

Stuart will be arriving with his coffee machine on the back of his bike for morning tea. Morning tea and lunch are included along with tea & coffee (self-serve table set up all day). Please bring your own water bottle.

Kate will be running the shop and I have been making scrapbooking kits, sorting out papers, embellishments and much much more. There should be something to tempt everyone.

Karyn and I will have a chat with you at the start of the day, then we are going to leave it up to you as to which project you do first.

Once everyone has chosen their 3 tags - the rest will be available for you to purchase at a special all day scrap price of $10 per tag kit. I have made over 1000 kits so there will be plenty to go around. The rest will be available online at Seriously Scrapbooking website for around $12-$15 per tag.

Karyn and I had a catch up on Saturday and we are both looking forward to seeing everyone and excited to be sharing our beautiful projects with you. We both have spent a lot of time and love creating our projects and are looking forward to watching you enjoying creating them. The above album is Karyn's 1st project, and it is beautiful.

If you have had trouble printing photos for the tags, then please bring your photos on a USB and I will have my printer on the day. I can resize photos and print them in black and white for you. Depending on demand - i should be able to do a couple of prints per person.

Believe it or not, but I still have three seats spare if you are able to join us.

Make sure you have an early night Friday. For those traveling from the country - drive safe and make you have a break every hour. For those joining us from interstate - thank you for coming and travel sale.

See you bright eyed and bushy tailed on Saturday!

Hugs

Jane

Counting down - Four Weeks to go!!!!

Hello Everyone

I have been crazy busy teaching classes, creating projects and working on the tags for the All Day Scrap. I am doing over 1000 kits - I haven't added an extra zero, I really am doing over a thousand kits.

This week I am going to share four tags, which I have done for my daughter's family. She has three boys and I love the tags I have made for her.

This frame contains tags 20, 8, 10 and 30.

Tag 20: A Boy is a Joy
I love this tag which I have done for D. The metal robot charm is quite charming! His photo is 3 1/4 inches high x 2 1/2 inches wide. Your person can be wider but not wider than 3 1/4 inches wide. I have converted a colour photo to black and white, then sharpened it and made it a bit brighter.

Tag 8: Hear me Roar!
This tag is proving to be very popular. Some of the ladies attending have been choosing their tags and this one is a favorite. S photo is 3 3/4 inches high x 1 1/2 inches wide. I have converted a colour photo to black and white, then sharpened it and made it a bit brighter.

Tag 10: You light up our Life.
I have made this tag for J. I got him to sit on the dining room table and place his hand on the table. It's important that your person sitting on the table crosses their legs. Your photo for this tag needs to be 5 inches high x 2 1/2 inches wide.  I have converted a colour photo to black and white, then sharpened it and made it a bit brighter.

I made a second one for J showing him sitting on the table with his hands on his knees.

Tag 30:
I love this photo of my family. Lots of beautiful Imaginarium Designs chipboard on this tag. I have painted and stamped all the chipboard in the kits for you.
Your family group can be up to 5 inches high x 2 7/8 inches wide.  I have converted a colour photo to black and white, then sharpened it and made it a bit brighter.

If you are attending Our All Day Scrap on the 20th April, then make sure you choose your three tags and let me know. If you live in Adelaide, then pop in to my place and you can choose them beforehand. I can help you with your photos if you need it.

We still have some spare seats for our All Day Scrap. Karyn Shultz is also teaching on the day with me and has two very beautiful projects for you. She has chosen a collection from Simple Stories for her projects.  Please contact me on 0416053688 for more information.

See you next week with another set of tags.

Thanks

Jane Tregenza

6 Weeks To Go

 Hello Everyone

Not sure what happened about last week, but it seems to have disappeared.

Getting back on Track now.

This week I am sharing some tags that I have done for one of my grandsons. This frame will sit on a shelf in his room.

This frame contains Tags 29, 4 & 1.

Tag 29: This tag is quite gorgeous with a stack of cogs and metals. The compass at the top actually works! For this tag - your person needs to be around 3 inches high. I have converted a colour photo to black and white, then sharpened it and made it a bit brighter.

Tag 4: I love this photo of H. I got him to sit on a table and place it hand flat on the table. This means he can sit on something on a tag and his hand can rest on something. Again, I used cogs both chipboard and metal. I have painted and stamped all the cogs for you. For this tag - your person needs to be around 5 inches high. I have converted a colour photo to black and white, then sharpened it and made it a bit brighter.

Tag 1: This is the tag that everyone attending the All Day Scrap will be making. You will have to do a bit of the mixed media techniques yourself. Your persons need to be 3 1/4 inches high (Left) and 4 inches high (Right).

Tag 1: This is to show you that you can do the tags with different persons combinations. This photo is of my three girls when they were quite small.

Remember if you are attending our All Day Scrap, you need to be keeping track of the tags you like and sorting out your photos. You need to choose 3 more tags to be part of your kit along with tag 1. If you need help sizing or printing your photos, then get in touch with me on 0416053688.

The list of ladies buying the bundle is growing so if you can't make up your mind then this may be an option for you. You can put them on lay-by and make payments before the day.

I still have around 6 seats left for our All Day Scrap, which is being held on the 20th of April.

I am delighted to have Karyn Shultz teaching with me on the day. The projects Karyn will be teaching are a beautiful mini album and layouts.

The cost of the day is $155 and is amazing value. This includes a full day scrapbooking, 3-4 stunning projects along with the frame for your tags. Morning tea, lunch and a thank you gift is also included.

If you would like to join us for this year's event, then give me a ring on 0416053688 and I can give you some more information.

See you next week for another set of tags.

thanks

Jane

8 Weeks To Go And Counting down.

 Hello Everyone

Sorry this post is a bit late, I have been a bit busy working on the kits for our tags. I am wanting to share another three tags with you.

Our All Day Scrap is being held on the 20th of April and we still have a few seats left if you would like to join us.

Here are three of my tags.

Tag 16. This tag is one I have made using a photo of my youngest daughter. I used a beautiful bunch of flowers for this tag. They are handmade by skilled artisans. These flowers are part of a program to provide employment to underprivileged women in rural parts of India. For this tag you need a photo 3 1/4 inches high and around 2 1/4 - 2 3/4 inches wide. I have converted a colour photo to black and white, then sharpened it and made it a bit brighter.  The images don't really show you how 3D the tags are. The look much better when you hold them or see them in the frames.

Tag 17. I made this tag for a photo of my daughter and grandchildren. I used some French ribbon for my tag. My photo is 3 inches high x 3 - 3 1/4 inches wide. I converted a colour photo to black and white, then sharpened it and made it a bit brighter.

Tag 28. I have made this tag twice so you can see how tags can be done with different photos to the ones I have used. I used a beautiful bunch of flowers for this tag. They are handmade by skilled artisans. These flowers are part of a program to provide employment to underprivileged women in rural parts of India. There is also a tiny glass heart jar. For this tag, I used a photo of two of my grandchildren sitting on our deck. Their photo is 4 inches high x 2 1/4 inches wide. Your photo needs to only be 2 1/4 inches wide if you want to fit your heart glass jar next to it. I converted a colour photo to black and white, then sharpened it and made it a bit brighter.

I made this second tag upside down as I am wanting to do a frame with 8 tags in it. The bottom four tags need to hang with the top of the tag pointing down. I used a photo of my five children taken quite a few years ago. My photo is 4 inches high x 3 1/4 inches wide. I converted a colour photo to black and white, then sharpened it and made it a bit brighter. For this tag I had to move things around a bit but both tags look just as lovely both ways.

Remember if you are attending our All Day Scrap, you need to be working out which tags you want to have in your kit. You are needing to choose three out of all the tags I have made. A few ladies have ordered the Tag Kit Bundle, which will give them one of every tag + a FREE pot of Finabairs heavy gel medium ($35).

If you need help with your photos, then contact me and I can print them for you.

If you would like to join us on the day, then give me a ring on 08 82771298 and I can give you some more information.

See you next week with another set.

Thanks.

9 Weeks to go until our 2024 All Day Scrap.

 Hello everyone.

We have 9 weeks left until our 2024 All Day Scrap and this week I am wanting to share another set of my tags. This frame is for one of my families.

At the All Day Scrap, you will receive a 12-inch square frame like the one below as part of your kit. You can choose three tags to go in your frame, along with one I have chosen for you to do on the day. You will also get a kit so you can do a layout using the fourth tag.

The frame below shows how the tags are placed - with a smaller photo below and a guote above each tag. I have some lovely quotes for you to choose from. As long as you bring some photos - you should be able to make a few on your tags on the day. Each kit includes detailed instructions.

I have chosen some of my favourite photos of my daughter, son-in-law and grandchildren.

Tag 5: This tag is for S and I love the attitude she shows just by sitting on the edge of the table. When taking a photo for this tag, ask your persons to place a hand on the table. Remember if your person is little, make sure someone is close by so they don't fall off. Her photo is 4 1/4 inches high. I have converted a colour photo to black and white, then sharpened it and made it a bit brighter.

Tag 31: I took this photo earlier this year when I was visiting. It is a lovely photo of them all. For this tag your persons need to be 4 inches high and around 2 2/4 inches wide. I converted their photo to black and white, sharpened it and made it a big brighter. For this tag, I have used one of my favorite large key charms. Although it is hard to see in the photo - the end of the key has the word love on it.

Tag 12: When my granddaughter was last visiting me, she sorted out a heap of flowers for her tag. I got her to sit on a table and I got down low enough to have her looking straight into the camera - rather than me standing up and looking down on her. Again, you can see the attitude - arms crossed and head on an angle. When taking a photo of someone sitting, make sure their legs are crossed. It looks a bit neater. For this tag your persons needs to be under 4 1/2 inches high.  I converted her photo to black and white, sharpened it and made it a bit brighter.
If you like any of the above tags, then add them to your list. I have around 25-30 kits of each tag.

We still have a few seats left for the day which is being held on Saturday 20th April and costs $155. The day includes your kits, morning tea, lunch and a thank you gift for attending. Karyn Shultz will also be teaching, and she has two lovely projects planned for you.

Karyn with be sharing a mini book and two layouts using papers from Simple Stories.

You can book online at Seriously Scrapbooking - just click on the 2024 All Day Scrap box on the home page. You can pay a non-refundable deposit of $35 to book your seat. Enjoy!

10 Weeks to Go

Hello everyone.

We are 10 weeks out from our All Day Scrap, which is being held on Saturday the 20th of April 2024.

Karyn Shultz is teaching on the day along with me - Jane Tregenza. Karyn has sent me some images of her two projects which I will share with you.

Karyn has designed a lovely mini album with tags and more inside, along with two beautiful layouts. Karyn has used one of Simple Stories collections called Vintage Love Story. It is a gorgeous collection and Karyn has three stunning projects for you.

This week I am going to share four tags that I have done for my children's wedding and show you how they look in a frame. This frame is an A4 size so I can fit four tags in it. These tags don't have to be used for wedding photos but could be used for any couples' photo or even a single photo.

At the All Day Scrap, you will receive a 12-inch square fame as part of your kit. You can fit three tags in this size frame. You will get to choose three tags which will suit your own family to do on the day, along with one I have chosen for you. You will also get a layout to do using one tag.

The frame below shows how the tags are place - with a smaller photo below and a quote above each of them. I have a heap of quotes to include in your kit along with the photo mounts. Background paper is also included in your kit. As long as you bring some photos - you should be able to make your frame and take it home.

I will have quite a few framed pieces for you to see and to give you an idea of how they look together.

Tag 26: This is a photo of my eldest daughter and my son-in-law. Their photo is 3 3/4 inches high x 3 1/2 inches wide. I have converted a colour photo to black and white, then sharpened it and made it a bit brighter.

Tag 25: This is a photo of my third daughter and my son-in-law.  Their photo is 3 1/2 inches high x 3 1/4 inches wide. I have converted a colour photo to black and white, then sharpened it and made it a bit brighter. I used a piece of their floral wedding invitation paper for this tag. There is quite a bit of chipboard on this tag which I have inked for you. The photo doesn't do it justis as the paper has a shimmer finish with gold highlights.

Tag 27: This tag is for my son and daughter-in-law.  Their photo is 3 1/2 inches high x 3 1/4 inches wide. I have converted a colour photo to black and white, then sharpened it and made it a bit brighter. I had some black glitter ribbon which I had been saving for a special project and so I used it on this tag.

Tag 24: This tag is for youngest daughter and my son-in-law.  Their photo is 4 inches high x 2 inches wide at the top of the frame. The photo can be wider as it comes down the tag. I have converted a colour photo to black and white, then sharpened it and made it a bit brighter. I used some special grey ribbons roses on this tag along with a stack of chipboard which I have inked for you.

So if you like any of the above tags, then add them to your list. I have made around 25-30 kits of each tag.

We still have a few seats for our All Day Scrap which is being held on Saturday 20th of April and costs $155. The day includes all your kits, morning tea, lunch and a thank you gift for attending.

You can book online at Seriously Scrapbooking - just click on the 2024 all day scrap box on the home page. You can pay a non-refundable deposit of $35 to book your seat. Full payment must be received by the 30th of March. You can ring me on 08 8277 1298 and I can do a credit card payment over the phone.

If you would like more information, then please ring me on 088277 1298.

See you again next week with some more tags.

11 Weeks to Go

 Hello everyone.

It's only 11 weeks to go until our 2024 All Day Scrap.

Normally I don't share my projects too much and always tell you "don't worry about bringing photos as you can add them later". But not this year!

This year it's all different. You will be making 4 tags - 3 tags to go in a shadow box frame and one for a layout. Having photos on the day will help you finish your tags.

You will be choosing three tags on the day, and I have one that everyone will be making. I have decided to share all 35 tags with you before the day. Some tags will be a sneak peek and others will show the whole tag, depending on the person the tag is for. I will also include the tag number and the size of the photo needed.

So, get your note book out and start choosing. I will have around 900 tag kits, so you can purchase more tags on the day, if you want to make more frames.  All you need to do is take note of the ones you like and bring your list with you on the day. This project would make wonderful Christmas presents for your family or look amazing as a group of framed tags on a feature wall in your home. I am making around 12 frames to hang on my dining room wall.

I ones I am going to share with you this week are tags of my parents. I have made this set for my mum so she can hang it on the wall. My dad passed away eight years ago.

Tag 18: This is my Mum; her photo is 3 1/2 inches high x 2 1/4 inches wide. I have converted a colour photo to black and white, then sharpened it and made it a bit brighter. In this kit, I have painted the chipboard for you. I have also used some beautiful French ribbons.

Tag 6: This is my Dad; his photo is 3 1/2 inches high x 3 inches wide. I have converted a colour photo to black and white, then sharpened it and made it a bit brighter. In this kit, I have painted the chipboard, and stamped the row of gentlemen at the top of the tag for you.

 A precious moment captured forever.

Tag19: I love this photo of both of them together. It was taken only weeks before we found out that Dad had terminal cancer. The photo size is 3 3/4 inches high x 3 1/4 inches wide. The writing at the top of this tag is a sample of the font used for all the quotes you will be placing above each tag in the frame.

The tags are around 3 inches wide x 6 inches high and fit into the frame with space at the top of each tag for a quote and space at the bottom for a small rectangle photo. I will share the finished three tags in their frame later on.

As part of your All Day Scrap kit, you will receive one frame. I purchased 70 of these from Spotlight. It is on their website as a Unigift shadow box natural frame 15x15cm (this is the opening in the photo matt not the outside frame size which is 30x30cm). This size frame holds three tags.

I have also purchased a few of the A4 size as this will hold 4 tags. If you are lucky enough to find the 50cmx50xm size by the Frame Depot, then you can do a frame with 8 tags. I will have one on display at the All Day Scrap with my grandchildren in it. I suggest you keep checking Spotlights website and wait for one of their sales with 40% off, then do an online order.

Next week I will share another 4 of the tags - these are tags of my four children's weddings.

At this stage, I still have some spare seats for our All Day Scrap. The day is being held on Saturday 20th April and costs $155. Karyn Shult will be teaching on the day along with myself. Cost of the day includes 4 projects, two are Karyn's, she has a mini book and layout for you. Morning tea and lunch is included. You will also receive a thank you gift for attending.

You can book online at Seriouslyscrapbooking.net.au just click on the 2024 all day scrap box. You can just pay a deposit of $35 to book your seat. Full payment must be received by 30th March.

Or you can contact me on 08 82771298.

Thanks so much for stopping by.

Don't forget to stop by Monday next week.

Getting in Early For our 2024 All Day Scrap.

All Day Scrap for 2024

Hello

Just wanting to let you all know that we have a date for our 2024 All Day Scrap.

We will be holding the event on Saturday 20th April 2024 at the Cosgrove Hall York Ave Clovelly Park. The same venue as 2023. I have updated the Seriously Scrapbooking Website for bookings.

Karyn Shultz will be joining me (Jane Tregenza) and will be sharing a Mini Album/Book and layout using one of Simple Stories new collections - Love Story. It is a beautiful collection with soft and pretty  colours and images. Karyn's book and layout will be amazing.  I have included an image of the collection for you to see.

I will be doing something quite different this year. I will be sharing a framed piece that you can hang on the wall or give as a gift. The frame is part of your kit.

The reason for letting you know before Christmas, is that you will need photos for my project. I have designed and started to make around 25 different tags; you will be able to choose three but purchase more if you need to. Each tag is themed quite differently - I am doing Heritage tags for my Great Grandparents, tags for my parents, my grown-up children and partners, group families, weddings, babies and my beautiful grandchildren. I don't share images of my grandchildren, but you need to see the kind of photos you need to take or find for the tags. I did go through all my photos and found lots taken over the years that will work.

As it is the Holiday Season, I am hoping you are getting together with family and friends so make sure you take a camera and take some beautiful photos to suit your tags.

I have included some samples of the kind of photos you will need. I have edited them, so my grandchildren's faces are a bit blurred. I am sure you understand why! You need to make sure yours are in focus!!

All the photos need to be converted to black and white. Most computers have some sort of photo editing software. I have sharpened each photo and change the contrasted a bit.  When you take your photos - leave a bit of space at the top and bottom of all your people and make sure you get down to their level. It is easier to crop and enlarge an image to make it bigger but harder to make it smaller.

Backgrounds don't matter as you will be cutting all your people out!

Josh won't mind having this photo on the web, so here is a sample of the kind of tags you will be making. Your frame will hold three along with some quotes and smaller photos under each tag. You will be able to sort out the extra smaller photos after making your frame.
I will include some guides below each photo to help you. You can choose to take new photos or sort through photos you already have. If it's all too hard, make your tags and sort out your photos afterwards. I have shown my grandkids the tags as I make for them, and they love them. I have been requested to make frames for each child's room, so I will be needed to make quite a few. I also plan to have all the tags in different sized frames on the day to give you ideas on how it all goes together. I got the frames from Spotlight, so you should have no trouble getting more frames if you need to. Just wait for one of their 40% off sales as I did, but hopefully you won't need 80!

H&V's Photo - I have 7 grandchildren, so I have taken single photos of them all, then grouped the siblings together. For this photo, you need to place your peoples next to each other, shoulders and backs slightly touching and on a slight angle so their faces are toward you. Ask them to fold them arms.

J's photo - for this photo, I got J to hold this favorited train, but it could be a book or anything. You can see that he is on the floor, so to get this photo, I had to lay on the floor as J has to be facing me and I need to be level with him.

J's Photo, I did take a lot of photos of my peoples sitting. I used a table for most as this means I can sit on a chair to take them. If you peoples are little - make sure someone is with them, so they don't fall off. Make sure you get them to cross their legs. Shoes or no shoes is up to you. You can also get them to place one hand on the table as on a tag this means they will be holding onto something.

I went through all my old photos and found this one of my three girls, which I will do a tag for. I found a stack of older photos which I can use, rather than having to take lots of new ones. I am wanting to make tags for family members no longer with me - as a reminder of just how precious life is and how important they are still.

Another sitting one - with attitude this time as S decided to place her left hand on her hip! very cute.

V's Photo - Sitting photos can also just be sitting with no hand out to the side.

We were lucky enough to have all 7 grandchildren together a couple of weeks ago, so I took them all outside to our decking which was just the right height to take sitting photos. I took single photos and then got them to group themselves together into 2's and 3's and just kept taking photos. I had to kneel on a mat to get to the right level, but I have some great photos which I can use for tags or scrapbook pages.

S's Photo - You can take standing photos as well, just make sure the people are facing you and you are at the right level and not looking down on them.

So for the first time ever, in All Day Scrap History - I am supper organized with photo requests months in advance.

You can book online now - just pay your deposit of $35 non-refundable (unless we cancel the event).

I will be contacting everyone who joined us last year early January, but wanted to give you the heads up and the opportunity to start sorting out your photos and working out who you want to make your frame or frames for.

Once I start contacting people, our all day scrap will be full as we had 63 ladies join us last year and am looking at 70 this year. I already have 12 people booked in.

So have a wonderful time over the holidays - catching up with family and friends. Please remember to include and think of others who at this time may be struggling with the loss of close and loved ones and those less blessed as we are.

Look forward to seeing you in the New Year

Jane

New Kits online

Hello Everyone I have finally uploaded all the leftover tag kits from Our All Day Scrap along with some other projects.  They are listed un...
