We had some wonderful classes over the weekend. I hope everyone enjoyed them and created something new.
This week is full of great classes for the kids!
Tuesday morning is Kathy's Kidz Cards class at 10am followed by Jane's Teen Girl Page on Wednesday at 10am. Thursday morning is a Kidz Wooden Tags class with Sam. This is the cutest project suitable for both boys and girls aged 8+. All the kids classes are only $8 with materials being a little extra! The tags class has a $4.50 kit.
Here is a sneak peek of a class I am doing on Thursday 22nd of April - Scrap The Girls. This page is more for the older girls or even scrap a photo of yourself. Some new technique to be experienced in this one ladies so book in now!
In May we have an exciting Guest Teacher.
Louise Nelson, who many of you may know already, has been asked to teach a few classes! Louise has been published many times in her scrapbooking career and in 2009 was part of the Scrapbooking Memories Magaize Creative Team. She is currently on the Aussie Scrap Source Design Team and also the Scrapware Design Team. Lou also runs the Aussie Scrapjack Challenge website that is a great place to go to get your creative juices flowing! Her first class on May 8th has already booked out but she will be repeating it on May 20th at 7pm.
Here is a description of the class by Lou ...
Using the wonderful Autumn Leaves book "The Designing With Recipe Book' that is packed with Inspiration and which Jane is selling in the shop. I have started my series of classes with a lovely layout created by Cathy Blackstone based on 'recipe' which you will receive in your class kit. I have used a lovely range of patterned papers from Basic Grey from the Indian Summer range. This layout suites the use of multiple photos [check out the original in the shop] but if you would like to bring some photos to class it would suit black and white, sepia, a combination of both, and/or photos that are earthy colors. For the 'Male' version of this recipe I have done a simple mainstream copy of Cathy's layout. However, if you are feeling slightly adventurous I have also completed a Female version of the recipe, that is more freestyle in its approach but very simple and easy to follow. Once again I have used some glorious Basic Grey patterned papers, from the Lemonade and Origins ranges. They are the most gorgeous yellows and greens with a subtle dash of pink. For this layout design it would suit a single portrait or landscape photo 4.5" x 3.5".
So dont miss this opportunity to be taught something different by one of the best....
