13 Sleeps to Go!

 Hello Everyone

It's only 13 sleeps to go until our All Day Scrap which is being held on the 30th April.

The event is being held at the Cosgrove Hall at 40-50 York Ave, Clovelly Park.

It promises to be a full on day of  amazing food and wonderful classes/projects. We still have a few spots left if you are tempted to join us after I share some images of the projects being taught.  For those attending, we need you to be at the venue at 9am and ready to start, doors will open at 8am. We plan to finish around 4.30pm.  Morning tea and lunch is included, along with your classes + kits. Cost for the day is $150, you can book in online or ring me on 0416053688 to pay via the phone.

You will get kits for four projects, three to be done on the day and one to take home.

Karyn Shultz has some beautiful layouts to share with you. She has designed two double layouts for the day. Karyn has chosen to use a paper collection called Whispering Woods from Bee Arty and designed by Sue Smyth a friend of mine and one very talented designer.  The collection is full of beautiful nature images, flowers, fairies, birds and much much more.  Karyn has included quite a few A4 sheets of laser cut images in different finishes for you to use and I am sure you will have a heap leftover after completing her projects. Her kit also includes a full paper pack, embellishment box and more.

Karyn sent me a couple of images of her two classes projects for me to share with you.

An image of  Karyn's first double layout class which shows some of the beautiful images from the collection. .

An image of Karyn's second layout class which shows some of the die cuts included in her kit and the way she has layered the elements on her layout.

Mine (Jane Tregenza) is suppose to be a "mini album" and has turned out to be an
8 inch x 8 inch full on album using papers and chipboard dies cuts from the Alice though the looking glass collection from Stamperia. The papers have a really beautiful vintage feel to them. I have designed the album to be a perpetual Birthday Book and have included calendars for this year and 2023.  You don't have to use it for this purpose.

The album includes pockets for you to add more photos to your pages.

A sample of one of the eight double pages in the album. It is a coil bound book, so you will be attaching dangling charms and lots of ribbons to the coils.
There is no way you will get this done on the day, it really should to be done at two full day workshops,  I have done step by step instructions so you will be able to finish it at home. It really is a too bigger project to do at our all day scrap, but the papers are so beautiful that a smaller mini album would not really do justice to the collection - it really needs to be a bigger album so that's what I have created.
I also have a couple of layouts for you to do as well, using  the Alice though the looking glass collection.
You will need to bring your basic kit + paper distressing tool for Karyn's class if you have one. I have used a very wide double sided tape for my album, if you don't have any, then I will have some for sale on the day in the shop. You will also need a roll of foam mounting tape.
Karyn and I have put a lot of work into making this day our best ever.
We still have a few spaces left, but you will need to contact me and pay as soon as possible as I am finalizing the kits a the moment.
Hope to see you on the 30th April and for those already booked in - looking forward to catching up again.
Jane
